Audrey’s thoughts Thank you to all those who have done so much over the weeks and years to support Bill and I in so many ways. The loss of Bill was so sudden but I can only take comfort in the thought that he never knew or suffered in his last days. We were private in our show of affection, but loved each other dearly. We had lots of fun and laughter and were friends to each other before marriage and that friendship was and enduring thread through all the years together. Family was the centre of our lives, our children Paula and John, grandchildren Jonathan Jack and Richard, son and daughter in law Paul and Helen, nephew and niece Martin and Sarah and their partners Janet and Noah. All of these together combined to make the rich tapestry of our family life that Bill played such a major part in and he will be sadly missed by every one of us.
