John's memories

Flying my model planes on Winchester Hill
Fixing the car with him on the weekends
Meeting him after his flying lesson after 50 odd years of not setting foot near a plane and his face when he came thought the door.
Going out to the pub, just the two of us, the stories and his true feelings he shared with me after a couple of pints. It made me realise just how much like him I really am.
Our amazement the one and only time we saw him go in the sea for a swim at Southsea when Paula and I were just kids.
What he told me when he got home from work after I beat up some boy at school in my 5th year. (Mum had sent him up to tell me off, he listened to my side and then just said - "sometimes you just have to hit the B%$$%£d!, but don't tell your mother I said that, OK")
Him telling my friends about the time he kicked The Eagles of their bunks to do a gig for the crew when they were the entertainment on the Queen Mary before they were really famous (hence the final song on the list of music).
